Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Richard Beleutz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AIR Asset Management. He is responsible for shaping the firm’s vision, setting its strategic direction, and leading its growth initiatives. Mr. Beleutz is the chair of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee.

With over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, Mr. Beleutz has executed more than $1 billion in transactions across companies and investment products. His extensive background spans private equity, investment banking, and fund operations—having previously served as a principal in three hedge funds. 

Mr. Beleutz is a recognized leader in the life settlements space, a field he entered in 2006 by launching his first life settlement-focused hedge fund, alongside a brokerage and a life expectancy company. His expertise in life insurance and annuities dates back to 1993 when he began his career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise.

A respected thought leader in alternative investments, Mr. Beleutz is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a sought-after voice in media interviews. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
