General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Nancy Wang serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at AIR Asset Management, where she leads the firm's legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. As a member of AIR's Executive Committee, Ms. Wang plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and expanding AIR’s business while shaping its strategic direction.

Before joining AIR, Ms. Wang held senior legal and compliance positions at global institutional asset managers such as York Capital, Tishman Speyer, Invesco, and Jefferies. Throughout her career, Ms. Wang has been deeply involved in all facets of legal and compliance matters, including new product development, fundraising, fund formation and governance, transaction structuring and execution, and regulatory compliance. Her extensive experience spans a range of investment strategies, including multi-strategy hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private credit, venture capital, separately managed accounts, co-investments, and joint venture partnerships.

Ms. Wang began her career as an associate in the Private Funds group at Schulte Roth & Zabel. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a B.A. from New York University.
