NANCY WANG

General Counsel

Nancy Wang is General Counsel at AIR Asset Management, where she advises on legal, regulatory, and governance matters across the firm’s investment management platform. Her work includes fund formation and structuring, product development, marketing and distribution, investor, counterparty, and commercial matters, financings, transactions, management company operations, employment, litigation and pre-litigation matters, and legal and regulatory risk management. She combines strategic judgment and hands-on execution to deliver practical solutions for complex business, investment, and operational matters.

Prior to joining AIR Asset Management, Ms. Wang held senior legal and compliance roles at leading global investment management platforms, including York Capital, Tishman Speyer, Invesco, and Jefferies. Her experience spans private funds, registered funds, SMAs, co-investments, and joint ventures across hedge fund, private equity, real estate, private credit, venture capital, and family office platforms.

Ms. Wang began her career as an associate in the Private Funds Group at Schulte Roth & Zabel, where she advised across the investment management ecosystem, including management company, sponsor/GP, and institutional investor/LP matters. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a B.A. from New York University.
