General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Nancy Wang is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at AIR Asset Management, where she oversees all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. As a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee, she plays a critical role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, mitigating risk, and enabling business growth.

Prior to joining AIR Asset Management, Ms. Wang held senior legal and compliance roles at leading global asset managers, including York Capital, Tishman Speyer, Invesco, and Jefferies. Her experience spans the full spectrum of investment management activities—fund formation and governance, product development, fundraising, transaction structuring and execution, and regulatory compliance—across diverse strategies such as hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private credit, venture capital, and co-investments.

Ms. Wang began her career as an associate in the Private Funds Group at Schulte Roth & Zabel, advising institutional clients on complex fund structures and regulatory matters. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a B.A. from New York University.
