General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Nancy Wang is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of AIR Asset Management. She leads the firm's legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. She plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and expanding AIR Asset Management’s business while shaping its strategic direction. Ms. Wang is a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee.

Before joining AIR Asset Management, Ms. Wang held senior legal and compliance positions at global institutional asset managers such as York Capital, Tishman Speyer, Invesco, and Jefferies. Throughout her career, Ms. Wang has been deeply involved in all facets of legal and compliance matters, including new product development, fundraising, fund formation and governance, transaction structuring and execution, and regulatory compliance.

Her extensive experience spans a range of investment strategies, including multi-strategy hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private credit, venture capital, separately managed accounts, co-investments, and joint venture partnerships. Ms. Wang began her career as an associate in the Private Funds group at Schulte Roth & Zabel.

Ms. Wang holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a B.A. from New York University.
