JEFF BLACK

Director of Portfolio Management

Jeff Black serves as the primary Portfolio Manager for AIR Asset Management, where he leads activities related to the construction, implementation, monitoring, and risk management of the company’s investments. He is a member of the Investment Committee and Portfolio Committee. Mr. Black has 20 years of extensive experience in the alternative investment industry. Most recently, he was an institutional investment consultant at Aon focused on advising large plan sponsors on all facets of their investment programs and advised and oversaw more than $200B in assets. Prior to Aon, he was the head of alternative investment research at AndCo Consulting, an advisor with Ameriprise, and a systems analyst with IBM. Mr. Black earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
